New makeup station

Here’s a quick photo I snapped on my phone of the new makeup station that was just installed on the weekend.

Studio floor – 20 feet wide

There’s 20 feet of width in the studio, and canvas backdrops are pre hung in white, chroma green and black. Or, have us setup a seamless paper backdrop in chroma green or arctic white. Your choice!

That’s a WordPress joke… but anyways, just took some quick shots of the two dollies available here at the studio – INCLUDED – with your studio rental. Use the tripod head of your choice to complete. Either unit can be used on the floor with ABS pipe or suspended at any height with galvanized pipe.

We’re still removing walls and old ceiling, a few more days before we can start with the new…

Day 1 of many

Construction started today (well yesterday) by starting to remove some walls to open up the studio floor. Fixes to electrical, security and network throughout. And after almost getting the van stuck inside the studio (broken garage door) we got the overhead door fixed too. Thanks to the crew! We’ll be ready to paint within a week or two.

Just over a week until construction begins… things will get messier before they get better. Looks like we’ll need to have the space usable before the new year, as we have a number of bookings already. We’ll post pictures of the big mess. Safety first!
